I’m taking on this 365 challenge to raise vital funds for Scotland’s animals. The Scottish SPCA is there for domestic, farm and wild animals 365 days a year. By helping me reach my fundraising target, you’ll also be helping the Scottish SPCA continue to be there for all animals, all year round.

Tuesday 25th Oct It's day 25 and we have now completed our 100km challenge!We are so greatful to all who have donated to our chosen charity (the Scottish SPCA)
It is almost 2 years ago that we met Merlin and gave him his new forever home from the SSPCA and we are so happy we met him, he has bought us so much love and happiness and we love him so very much.
I am so proud of him for all the walking he has done to raise vital money to help with the cost of living and energy prices.

Monday 24th Oct Hello, day 24 for us on our walking challenge. We are at 96km now!Almost completed the challenge.
It's been great seeing how much we can raise for the Scottish SPCA and we are so greatful to all who have donated.
We will continue the walking. 🐕👋

Sunday 23rd Oct It's the 23rd day of our 100km walking challenge! For the Scottish SPCA.We are currently at 92 km now and approaching the finish line (if there was one😂)
We have raised £206 so far and we are so very thankful to all who have donated.
I can't believe that in less than a week we would have had Merlin in our lives for 2 years! It feels way longer.
Anyways, lets carry on with walking and donating.

Friday 21st Oct Hello followers, day 21. We didn't do too much yesterday as it was raining a lot here!We are now at 88km of 100km so we are still doing well. Hopefully the rain holds off so that we can carry on walking.
Once again, if you can and want to donate to us then please do. Help the Scottish SPCA continue to help and support all animals that need their help 365 days a year and get through the cost of living crisis. 🐕🤑

Thursday 20th Oct We are almost at the half way point of our target sponser money amount of £365.Another massive thankyou to those who have donated precious money for the Scottish SPCA, they are such a wonderful charity and one we hold very dear to our hearts.
We are currently at 85km out of 100km and continue to walk, all weathers to get in some Merlin Miles. Bless, poor Merlin is more tired lately but is also enjoying all the extra sniffing places!🐕😇.
We shall continue tomorrow...

Wednesday 19th Oct So today is day 19. We are currently at 83km, i can't believe how well we are doing.We want to say again, a massive thankyou to all who have donated already. I don't think we will reach our goal of £365 but we will be greatful to anything we raise to help the Scottish SPCA during these hard times.

Tuesday 18th Oct Hello followers, we are now on 76km so far and on day 18. Merlin is doing so so well.We have until the end of october to get all the donations in for the Scottish SPCA.

Sunday 16th Oct Hi all, today is day 16 of Merlin's Miles for Money. We are now currently at 68km of our target of 100km.Due to the cost of living crisis and energy crisis we are all going through, we (me and merlin) decided to do a 100km walking challenge to help raise vital money to help the Scottish SPCA continue to be there and help the animals that go into their care.
We are so greatful to all that have donated already. Please, if you can - donate anything you can to help them through these hard times. Hopefully we can reach our target of £365.
We are going for a nice walk today to get in some more merlin miles, see you soon. 🐶🐾🐾

Saturday 15th Oct Almost halfway through october now!We are now at 63km so we are way ahead of schedule.
We are hoping to get out this weekend if the weather is nice for a nice walk together.

Friday 14th Oct The second week is almost over of Merlin's Miles for money. We are very nearly at 60% of the way through.We are extremely greatful to you all who have donated already to help the Scottish SPCA when they need it most, with the cost of living crisis and energy crisis they need as much help as possible to be able to carry on caring for all the animals that need it.
As mentioned before, it is a charity we hold close to our hearts as this is where we met Merlin and adopted him back in 2020 and we were so thankful to them for all they did for him during his time with them.

Thursday 13th Oct Well, the mornings are now getting colder. This morning was actually our first frost of the morning, brrrr....!We have done a nice walk this morning already to get some miles in but we started the app last night but forgot to press start until we were nearly back home yesterday, i was so gutted lol!. (Note to self to check workout has started)🤣🐶

Wednesday 12th Oct Another day, another paw forward!We managed a good walk yesterday to get more Merlin Miles in so that makes us. . . .
Over HALF WAY! We are currently at 54km this morning and are going to be getting some steps in over the next few days hopefully.
We are so very greatful to everyone who has already donated and those who are going to soon!. We really hope to make our target.

Tuesday 11th Oct Hello again to our followers!We will reach half way today at 50km, we should have made this yesterday but we didn't manage to get another walk in before my work so merlin's daddy had to walk him and he hasn't got the app i need to record our walking.
Never mind, chin up they say. We are still on target at the moment, so that's good.

Monday 10th Oct Hello everyone who is following our journey, day 10 for us.We didn't get many Merlin Miles in yesterday it was absolutely pouring with rain yesterday so we couldn'd do a massive walk getting soaked before bed.
Lets hope we can get more in before the next load of rain😄🐕

Day 9
Sunday 9th Oct We are now on day 9 of our 100km challenge.We joined up with some family again for one last walk together before they head back home today.
It's been great for us to have some company on our walk and explore about with them.
Back on with the task at hand though, we are almost half way there now, so we are doing good together.
We hope that more people can donate to our cause as we really would like to meet our goal at £365 towards the great work the Scottish SPCA does. Please get donating if you can and haven't done so yet.

Saturday 8th Oct Hi everyone, we didn't have a very productive day yesterday. I think Merlin was feeling super tired, so we didn't push ourselves.We hope to get some more Merlin Miles in today.

Day 7
Friday 7th Oct It's day 7 of our 100km walking challenge! A whole week😄We are now at 34km so we are on track to reach our goal (actually ahead of target)
We figured it doesn't matter if we go over the 100k mark.
We had another walk together with some family members who are visiting us at the moment and got in some more Merlin Miles.
Anyway, it was just an update so see you tomorrow for the next update😉🐕

Thursday 6th Oct Almost a week into our challenge and currently on 29km as of last night.We are loving wearing our Scottish SPCA clothes on our walks to show what we are doing.
Merlin is enjoying his snoozing a bit more this last week to rest in between the walks.

Wednesday 5th Oct Today is the 5th day of our 100km walking challenge and Merlin is doing so well!We need to get him used to his new coat as he didnt like it yesterday and wouldnt walk around the streets with it on!🙈 luckily there is a dog field near me that is usually pretty quiet, he walked round there perfectly😂
Anyway... we will continue to track our progress and give an update each day, so keep an eye out and please, please donate! Scottish SPCA.

Day 4
Tuesday 4th Oct Well yesterday we joined with some family and done a walk with them in Pitlochry up some steep hills to find a lovely waterfall, we went through a forrest and past a distillery. It was a lovely scenic walk until it rained and we all got wet!😂In total we walked 11km yesterday which has made us almost 1/5 th of the way towards our goal of 100km.

Monday 3rd Oct Admittedly, last night i forgot to start the walk on our app that tracks how many kilometers we walk.Today we will get into the habbit of doing this as we do not want to keep losing steps.
We do have some supporters this week who can join us on some walks.
Please donate whatever you can to help the Scottish SPCA with the rising costs. As a charity, they rely solely on donations alone and do not get any help from government or national lottery.
We appreciate anything you can afford to donate to help this cause.

Sunday 2nd Oct Well, yesterday went well. We did complete our steps but the App decided not to count them properly, so we lost those steps unfortunatelyHowever, we will sort the app today (we hope) and will be back on track soon😄.
