My Activity Tracking

My target 30 kms

I'm fundraising for Gypsy and Scotland's animals.

Happy summer, Scotland's animal lovers! I'm delighted to sign up for August's Pound for Paws and run 30km in 30 days.

As many of you may already know, my beloved late rescue dog Gypsy came from the Scottish SPCA and we shared almost four wonderful years together that wouldn't have been possible without them. She continues to inspire everything I do and Pound for Paws is no exception - stay tuned as I take on the challenge and please donate what you can to help Scotland's most vulnerable animals. Thank you!

My Updates

Tuesday 1st Sep
Thank you so, so much to everyone who sponsored me this August - I'm beyond delighted to have raised more than double my original target of £300, together giving an incredible £647 to support Scotland's most vulnerable animals! I hope you've enjoyed watching my running, walking and (sometimes) dancing this month - now I'm off to put my paws up!

Almost there!

Halfway Hello!

Friday 14th Aug
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me so far - it's not too late to make a donation, with every penny going to help Scotland's special animals!

Let's do this!

Friday 31st Jul
Puffed on my paws, but still so excited to help raise funds for Scotland's animals!

Back on my paws

Thursday 30th Jul
Hi everyone, guess who's back on her paws?! I had to take a brief break from running and walk my daily practices - Achilles tendonitis anyone? - but I'm delighted to say that I've returned to running now (very carefully)! Only one day to go before the challenge starts for good, and I can't wait!

Practice No.2

Thursday 16th Jul
Hitting a km ... but can I keep it up for thirty days straight?! Hope so!

Practice No.1

Sunday 12th Jul
Pounding the pavements for those precious paws ... the non-runner attempts her first km!

Thank you to my Sponsors

Hi Kirsten. I’m a friend of your dads and saw this on his twitter page.... Many years ago, Your dad looked after me when I was a young vulnerable pup with lots of people barking at me at UoG... so I’m glad you’re continuing on to fight the good fight for animals in need. Wish you the best in your running! All the best!

Kirsten, I am sure Bill would have been telling me with pride what you were doing in raising funds but since he can’t be here please accept this small donation from me for I man I met and befriended on his golf course. Keep up the great work.
