I'm taking part in Step for Pets to help raise funds for Scotland's animals. Throughout February, I will be aiming to walk 10,000 steps a day. You can support me by donating to my challenge to help care for Scotland's animals.

Sunday 28th Feb
Well it is the last day of my #stepforpets challenge and so I want to say a huge Thank You to everyone who donated to my fundraising page.

I smashed my target and I'm pleased to say I have managed to raise £549. which is absolutely amazing.

I've walked 290km this month which works out to 402658 steps! 

It has been challenging weather at times but definitely worth it to raise money for the SSPCA.

A big thank you to Sid, Mousey & Hugo the cockapoos who have accompanied me on lots of walks and also thanks to my friends who also joined me for walks. (Social Distancing etc was adhered too) 😁

Ok I can now put my feet up and have a coffee!!

Last week of my Step for Pets Challenge

Monday 22nd Feb
I can't believe week 4 of the challenge is here!!

I've managed to achieve more than 300000 steps so well on the way to my target of 350000.

Another big THANK YOU to everyone who has donated to this amazing charity. If you still haven't but want to then please donate before the 1st March. Any amount will do as every £ counts towards helping & caring for all the animals that the SSPCA look after every day.

2 weeks down 2 weeks to go!!

Sunday 14th Feb
Well I've managed to complete 14days with 14 days still to go.
The weather at times has been quite harsh however no amount of rain, snow, wind, sleet or anything else the Scottish weather can throw at me will stop me getting to my steps target. 
I've done just over 198000 so I've decided to raise my steps target to 350000. 

I've smashed my fundraising target and so I want to say a big 
THANK YOU 
to everyone who has taken the time to donate to my fundraising page. I know that the SSPCA and all the animals they help will really appreciate all of your very generous donations.

There is still plenty of time to make a donation. As I keep saying any amount you can spare will be fantastic. Every £ counts!
Ok so let's see what the next 2weeks have in store for me!!

Week 1 Done !!

Sunday 7th Feb
Well I've managed to walk just over 93000 steps this week for the Step for Pets Challenge.
 
The weather has been awful with lots of rain, wind, sleet and more rain but I just wrapped up warm and walked. 
Mousey & Sid the cockapoos joined me on a couple of days but most of the time I was Moira No Mates 😁🚶‍♀️😁

Thank you thank you thank you to all of you who have donated so far. I'm up to £279 which is fantastic. It would be great to get to £300 or more before the end of Feb. So please dig deep and donate to this very worthwhile charity.

Will do another update next week when I will be another year older!!

1st day in the Step for Pets Challenge

Monday 1st Feb
Well I've got off to a flying start in the challenge. I walked over 15000 steps but more important I have received over £200 in donations.

I'm so pleased to have smashed my target and hopefully I can raise more before the end of February. 
So there is still plenty of time to donate and as I have said before any amount will do.

So I only have 265000 steps to go but it will be all worth it in the end.

11 Days till my Step for Pets challenge starts!!

Hi Everyone

Well only 11 days to go till my Step for Pets challenge.

I've been out walking in all weathers these last few days and so I'm sure I will be ready for the challenge in February!!

I would really love to raise more money for the SSPCA so if you can spare a few £'s that would be great.  The SSPCA do fantastic work throughout the year and really need funds so they can help animals all over Scotland.

I'm really pleased to say I've managed to raise more than £100 and so I've raised the target to £150.

Steps for Pets - February 2021

Monday 11th Jan
As lots of you know I absolutely love going on walks  with my borrowed 4 legged furry friends Sid & Mousey the cockapoos.
 So when I saw the SSPCA were doing a fundraiser called Steps for Pets I thought why not give it ago. 
So each day in February I am going to walk 10,000 steps or more and I would really appreciate if anyone would like to sponsor me. Any amount will do and I hope to raise over £100. 
That is the target I have set but really I would love to raise way more for such a worthy cause.
I will do updates as I go along and will record my walking steps on my fitbit!
Fingers crossed the weather is kind to me in February.
